Curious about human experience, Vishaal (BA, MA) has engaged in a variety of roles: counsellor and therapist, facilitator, writer, and educator. Since he was a child growing up in Toronto, he has been reflective about human interaction, how we relate to others, ourselves, the world around us, and how we can live in greater harmony and authenticity within ourselves to transform our lives. Vishaal sees value in our mindful living, the wisdom of nature, the growth we are meant to work through to achieve our life lessons, and how this connects with our unique life purpose. Vishaal is invested in self-growth and critiquing life choices. He places great emphasis on being fully present when engaging with someone. “I can give nothing more valuable than my undivided attention and time,” says Vishaal.
Vishaal is certified with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) as a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) as a Registered Psychotherapist (Q). Currently, Vishaal works at Carleton University as a counsellor and in private practice. In his spare time, Vishaal enjoys spending quality time with his loved ones, engaging in physical activities, exploring new places, architecture, art, and music.
